Plus awareness training on cyber security and phishing in a political context, an environment that is frequently targeted. Direct experience from working in several MP offices feeds into this.

European solutions instead of dependency
Reducing dependency on non-European providers matters increasingly for political offices too. Advice and training on what decentralised, European solutions for software, cloud services and communication can look like are part of that, in the spirit of a self-determined "European way of life".
The telepresence robot for the constituency
In the 2021 campaign for a sitting state parliament member, I contributed to the technical development and implementation of a remote presence solution: a battery-powered telepresence robot with a screen and mobile internet connection, known as "MiWae21_Robot", which replaced the classic campaign stand. Cleared with the local public order office, it could be set up at practically any market square in the constituency, connecting the constituency office with an on-the-ground presence. The elected representative could stay at the office and still have a live, Covid-compliant conversation with citizens, including those without their own smartphone or laptop. A practical example of creative interfaces in everyday political work, especially in exceptional situations such as a pandemic.
German media covered it, including BILD, the Rhein-Zeitung and the Siegener Zeitung.

The robot's reach went well beyond the constituency, including this English-language tweet.

AI training for the whole team
At the request of a member's office, a digital training session on the collaborative use of ChatGPT was designed and delivered in late 2025, including a recording for every team member and ongoing availability for follow-up questions.
Digital office organisation, from first-hand experience
Direct practical work in members' offices brings first-hand knowledge of the challenges: from structuring a Microsoft Teams rollout, to the digital side of campaign support, to a central tool for tracking constituent enquiries transparently. That practical knowledge feeds directly into the advisory work.
Support across the distance
Two party offices were advised on specific software questions, with training on site and online. Help is still available when needed, and remote access makes this possible even across longer distances.
Statewide AI training, shortly after ChatGPT launched
Shortly after ChatGPT became available, a statewide training session on practical AI use was designed and delivered for a political party, with participating representatives from every district association. That meant the new tool could be put to work right away and start easing everyday tasks. An early example of how quickly new technology can be taught well when the fundamentals are right.
